The Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Hon. Alban S. K. Bagbin gave a statement on Ghana's Water Sector and the way forward on the 3rd of June 2010 at the conference room of Ministry of Information.

The Statement gave an overview of the global situation on water, water resources in Ghana, efforts made to improve, sustain, preserve, manage, produce and supply water to the good people of Ghana with emphasis on five broad areas which are: Water Resources Management Water Quality Rural and Small Town Water Supply Urban Water Supply Rain Water Harvesting.
