The Improvement Water Sector Performance Managemetn Framework (IWSPMF)Project which is European Commission funded is hosted by the Water Directorate of the Ministry of Water REsources, Works and Housing. As part of its activities for the year 2010, a multi-sectoral stakeholders' Dialogue was held at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra, Ghana on Thursday, 18th of March 2010. The workshop was on the state of the Water Sector - achievements, challenges and way forward. The dialogue also aimed at identifying and documenting strategies for the promotion of transparency, intergrity and accountability within the water sector in Ghana. The Dialogue was Chaired by the Ghana Government Statistician, Dr. Mrs. Grace Bediako. Participants were drawn from government agencies, development partners, the private sector and NGOs.
