Launch of Triple-s

The Community Water and Sanitation Agency is hosting the IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre Multi Country Learning Initiative aimed at supporting government and stakeholders in the water sector to improve rural water supply by transforming the current piecemeal approach to a jointly planned and intergrated service. The Project will work within existing country framworks to test approaches that will ensure sustainable water service delivery in Ghana. The initiative has started in two African Countries (Ghana and Uganda)and would later expand to other African countries. The lessons learnt from Ghana and Uganda will provide improved understanding of both the service delivery Approach (SDA) and the processes required to upscale at both national and international levels. The inception phase of Triple-S in Ghana is May 2010. The operational phase of the project will begin in June 2010 and end in December 2014. The Project launch signify the end of the inception phase and officailly announce the start of the Triple-S implimentation in Ghana. The launch will took place on the 17th of May 2010 at the Lapalm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
