The first ever National Quiz on Water and Sanitation was lunched by the Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, and MP for Nadowli West, Hon. Alban S. K. Babgin. The Inter-School Quiz which was the first of its kind, sought to unearth and test the knowledge of Senior High School students in water, sanitation and hygiene related issues in the country.

On the 26th of July 2011, the Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Hon. Alban S. K. Bagbin took his turn at the Meet the Press Series. the programme took place at the Ministry of information. Present at the programme were the Chief Director and Directors from the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing, the Cheif Executive Officer of the Communjty Water and Sanitation Agency, the Executive Secretary of the Water Resources Commission and the Ag. Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company Limited. also present were the print and electronic media.

The Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Hon. Alban S. K. Bagbin gave a statement on Ghana's Water Sector and the way forward on the 3rd of June 2010 at the conference room of Ministry of Information.
