Q. Is the Water Directorate one of the three Departments in the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing?
A. The Water Directorate is the lead department in the Ministry responsible for Water. The main focus of the Directorate's activities is on overall water resources management and drinking water supply. The Directorate coordinates activities of key Sector Agencies which are; Water Resources Commission, Ghana Water Company Limited,and Community Water and Sanitation Agency.

Q. What are the donor funded projects hosted by the Water Directorate?                                       A. The three donor funded projects hosted by the Water Directorate are:                                                

• Water Sector Monitoring Platform  (funded by the UNICEF)                                                                                    
• Improvement of Water Sector Performance Management Framework (funded by European Commission)           
• CIDA-NORST Investment Committee Secretariat ( funded by Canadian International Development Agency)
